RWANDA Mission Trip 2026
In August 2026, Dr. Sarah Hellmann, PhD, and Dr. Patricia Gildea will return to Rwanda to lead two four-day “From Trauma to Resilience: Empowering Community Leaders” workshops. Together, they will equip community leaders with tools to foster healing, resilience, and reconciliation in villages still impacted by the 1994 genocide.
The total cost of this mission is $35,000. Thanks to generous grant funding, $20,000 has already been secured. An Evening of Hope for Rwanda fundraiser will help raise the remaining $15,000 needed to provide art supplies, instructional materials, transportation, interpreter services, and community meals for these life-changing workshops.
